1. Information We Collect

We may collect and process the following information:

  • Account information — your name, email address, business name, and login details.
  • Business profile information — business information, brand descriptions, website URLs, and competitor URLs that you add into the platform.
  • Product, service, brand, and content information — content, products, services, assets, and materials you upload or input into the platform.
  • Connected social media account information — where you authorise integrations such as Facebook, Instagram, or LinkedIn, we store the platform-issued page ID, page name, and OAuth access token required to publish content on your behalf.
  • Content generation inputs — prompts, captions, schedules, and publishing preferences.
  • Technical information — browser type, IP address, device information, and log data.
  • Usage information — relating to how you use the platform.

2. How We Use Information

We use your information to:

  • provide and operate the Double Up platform
  • generate social media content and image prompts
  • support scheduling and publishing workflows
  • connect and manage authorised third-party social media integrations
  • improve platform performance, security, and usability
  • communicate with users regarding support, updates, or important notices
  • comply with legal, regulatory, and platform obligations

3. Social Media Integrations

Where you choose to connect third-party platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, or LinkedIn, Double Up may access certain account, page, or publishing-related information necessary to perform the functions you authorise.

We only use this information to provide the requested integration functionality and do not access more than is reasonably necessary for those services. You may disconnect any social account at any time from your business settings within the platform.

4. Sharing of Information

We do not sell personal information.

We may share information only where necessary:

  • with service providers or infrastructure providers that help us operate the platform (including Supabase for database and storage, and Google Gemini AI for content generation)
  • with integrated third-party services that you choose to connect
  • where required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect our rights
  • in connection with a business restructuring, merger, sale, or transfer, if applicable

5. Data Retention

We retain information only for as long as it is necessary to provide the platform, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and maintain legitimate business records. If you request deletion of your account and associated data, we will complete the deletion within 30 days.

6. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect personal information against unauthorised access, misuse, loss, disclosure, or alteration — including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) and hashed password storage via Supabase Auth. However, no system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to:

  • request access to your personal information
  • request correction of inaccurate information
  • request deletion of eligible information
  • object to or restrict certain processing
  • withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
